In the words of Hiroko Inuma; I could not come up with a better title! Her latest work is a handmade fan, with hand dyed shibori paper. Shibori is like a folded and dyed process, and Hiroko uses the “sekka”, or snowflake tie-dye method. The clamshell style fans are fastened with Japanese smoked cedar. I cannot stop looking at Hiroko’s work. I would just like to hang these papers on my wall!
