One Last Look at The Book

remnants, ribbon, RISD, upcycled books
This time with fabric. After purchasing some of kasawonderful’s fabric at a recent Art “Yard Sale”, Jo, a¬†RISD student, made these books, and happily shared her work with us:

I love seeing the before and after with these remnants. And I love how artists like Jo see the potential in what could be an overlooked piece of cloth. With her vision, skill and some TLC, she cooked up some leftovers into a beautiful book.

Thanks Jo! We appreciate your loyalty and love your work!

Spring Cleaning, Spring Projects

Although I would love to spend the whole day spring cleaning my place, and working on projects around the house, time does not allow that kind of fun.
I posted some upholstery fabrics on etsy, nearly vintage, for those who are inspired by the warming weather to do a little something around your house. Maybe a new slip cover, pillowcase, or fix up those kitchen chairs for your next dinner party. Tell me what you think, what would you do with these interior decorating type fabrics?
